About Us

Upstate Trash 2 Treasure was created by David Beck to keep items out of the landfill.  Sourced from the side of the road, residential families who are moving, and donors everything we receive is processed individually.

If an item is truly at the end of its life it is recycled or disposed of.  If it is cleanable and able to find a second home it is processed and given away to those who are in need of the items.

We currently host two events per year both at Mohawk Valley Community College in Utica, NY.  Someday we hope to expand our events to include more venues.
